Customizing Structures 5. Formative Feedback


In this Learning Path you will increase your understanding of the importance of replacing normed-referenced, archaic grading practices with a formative approach to feedback. As a result of your study, you will reflect on how you, your learning center, and your learning community are doing and plan your next steps related to the elements of Formative Feedback.

  • the flaws in the current grading system;
  • the research on effective feedback;
  • the need to move from points and percentages to rubrics and scoring scales;
